TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Ron started his affordable housing career in 1992 as a Development Officer for the Colorado Division of Housing (CDOH). At CDOH Ron provided technical assistance to non-profit and for-profit housing developers applying for HOME and CDBG funds from CDOH. Ron then spent nearly eight years at the Colorado Housing & Finance Authority (CHFA), primarily as the Manager of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC). With the support of upper management, the LIHTC staff and the development community, Ron guided the program to become one of the most developer-friendly programs in the country. After CHFA, Ron worked as a development analyst for the Monroe Group, a tax credit developer, assisting with the acquisition, rehabilitation and preservation of hundreds of affordable housing units across the country. During the past decade, Ron has worked on financing the development of thousands of affordable housing units through one of the largest tax credit syndication firms in the country, Enterprise Community Partners.
